What is better, GoDaddy or WordPress?

They're not quite the same category. GoDaddy is a hosting company that also offers its own drag-and-drop website builder. WordPress is free, open-source software that can be installed on almost any host, including GoDaddy's own hosting.

GoDaddy's builder is simpler for a very basic site, but it locks you into their platform. WordPress takes a bit more setup but gives you far more control, more design options, and the ability to move your site to a different host later without starting over.
